Happy Bellies...Organic baby cerals

With the recent scandal on China milk tainted with Melamine, naturally it becomes a FEAR in all parents.

I just disposed away the almost finished Frisco-cream rice cerals can. I hate discarding baby food, especially when the baby is eating well with the flavour. But I just cannot bring myself not to give the BEST for the kid.

Anyway, my neighbour was very kind to offer me the Organic version of cerals. Happy Bellies. I am not sure if Ames will like it, since it is organic and also more "ang moh" style, I may as well give a try.

7th months woes

Today Ames has reached his 7th mth celebration. We are young easily excited parents whom we actually remind ourselves when each mth reach 28th date. Maybe its because Ames is the firstborn which makes him slightly more special :) Call us favourtism, but we don't really care, cos he is the Number One at this moment.

This week has been quite a painful time for his growing up. Nappy rash, sever rash that the skin literally breaks up. I can understand his agony when he has to change the nappy. Called Missy Angela for help.

Great advice: Use potassium promangate to clean the buttocks. It has this gentle antiseptic effect that cleans gently yet act as a catalyst for recovery. By the 2nd day of use, his skin has recovered much more.

Also, for great skin, instead of buying those organic baby wash.. blah blah...you know, those expensive and sounds great baby bath soaps, this simple QV wash can also turn skin like SK2

Studying in MacDonalds

It's the weekend again. Family breakkie at MacDonalds,
Today we got Ames his new book, "What's That Sound?"
Not so sure if he is enjoying the book as he didnt display much affection unlike the rattles and his "ipod". But omg, mayb later on, as a young teen, he will hang out in Mac studying.
So traditional student in making....



Looks like telling me that he had finished reading. Time to eat?

Children clothing are extremely addictive.

Name any design, the children wear companies must have already designed,manufactured and hang on the shelves for crazy parents like me. I especially like Children Place and Carters clothing cos of the high quality and affordablity.

Like this bathing towel, I better start using before Ames outgrow it.

everyone of us has this happy feeling when we see the Golden Arches.
For me, i grew up recognising that MacDonalds is a fun/loving/happy and full of joy place.
We are trying to adopt a lifestyle which Sunday mornings are a family meal time before Daddy starts his religious football sunday with his friends.
Here we are, in Queenstown MacDonalds enjoying hotcakes and egg muffin.
This place is not just us, but many young parents with kiddos like Ames' age or young toddlers.
Now, I beg to differ that having children is a nightmare but a new lifesyle for us.
And just as MacDonald's slogan, Im Loving IT!

Happy meal? Upsize? I am not a fanstatic cook neither have the patience to watch over the fire to cook porridge for Ames. Hence, I decide to outsource his meals to Gerbers.
I am sure Ames looks forward to Mondays as he will be eating freshly made porridge from Grandma's kitchen. Though he shows great enthusasim in banana, pear, applesauce and papaya, nothing beats the the chicken/pork porridge.

These are the craziest bunch of mummy's friends.
Lots of laughter and loads of giggles.
Aunty nisi commented my clothes are beautiful hanging on the dry poles.
True enough, these pictures will be very hard to come back next time.
Better capture the small size clothes before the school uniforms, army uniforms and business shirts start to replace on.

Thanks for the VCDs. At least I can watch some healthy programs.
Aunty got for me Baby Einstein VCDs which are pretty fun to watch.

The music is great and the graphics are clear too.

i have a little secret - my favourite babysitter. I always like when Charmain jie-jie drop by. Mummy will always prepare lots of nice food for them.

Actually its' grandma's smart idea to stuff the instant noodles between me so that I can enjoy sitting and seeing the items on the shelves in supermarket. Those years of experience of grandma do pays off. Luckily, they didnt put me through the check out counter...unlike Maggie in the Simpsons show..hahah
