Ames and his new growing up days

We are so fascinated with this new Japanese Fruit Tart shop in Orchard Central. This mango fruit tart is the must haves in our fridge this week. Everyday, someone is creeping into the fridge to serve himself at least a tart. Here is Ames enjoying the tart slice all by himself. And he can really finish all on his own. I wonder where the food goes, still such a boney boy!
Okay, this is the dentist check. I wanted to count the little teeth and mark onto the health booklet. Well, his pearly whites aren't exactly white as we are not so prompt in the teeth brushing yet. Must put more effort in making teeth brushing as a habit.

I got many little presents in home just to reward when one boy behaves well. This is the first pressie to kickstart the good boy. Ames was rewarded with the sketch pad, and it is the Thomas Sketch pad :) No novelty for him :( I think this reward system needs more tweaking.

Vespa motor bike :) This motor bike can moves :) Just step on the pedal and vroom vroom vroom. There should be an early childhood learning circuit to put this kids in place.

As the kiddo grows bigger, the presence of toys also gets bigger. Now the corner of the living hall has exceeded the allocation. Any good advice?

Been a 5 months break! We are back!

Hi everyone, such a long delay for no new postings. Is it because Ames went to school and life is no more interesting? Of cos not, firstly, the lazy mom was too lazy with the updates and of cos, life is even more exciting and challengin with this boy reaching his year 2.

To cut a long story short, let's see how much Ames has grown.

A brief history for the absence for 5 months, we celebrated Christmas 2009, New Year 2010, a warm family trip to HK to find his roots (the dad's ground) and of course, his second birthday on 28th Feb :)

Boys are funny. Ames like my heels shoes and always trotted proudly in them like fashion catwalk models. He does have a good sense of balance as he does not fall off. Not too bad to wobble. One lovely thing abt Ames at times is that he will pick the shoes for me. He will called out, "mummy, this one. ok?" Looking for my approval on his taste. Getting any pair to match my outfit is relatively easy as my shoes are conservative and typical to reach the broad fashion spectrum. But it is so sweet to have a young boy to hand the shoes for you.
We were also on top of the island on Singapore Flyer. I wonder how much can Ames recall now :) Kids' retention memory is .... anyone can advise? I believe he may have slight association but with the gap that we had til now, I dont think we can build on the association anymore.
Going to look for more pic to post up
